FIFPro board member Morgan Andersen resigns

FIFPro board member Morgan Andersen has accepted the position of general manager of the Norwegian Premier Division club FC Lyn Oslo. Andersen will start his new job in December 2003. As a result of this new step in his career Andersen will resign as long-serving chairman of the Norwegian players’ organisation NISO and as member of the FIFPro board.

 

Andersen, 37, informed his fellow FIFPro board members before the official press conference of FC Lyn Oslo, today at 16.00 h. Andersen will officially resign from the FIFPro board during the upcoming FIFPro congress in Buenos Aires, 25-28 November 2003.



FC Lyn Oslo, the new club of Andersen, is still in relegation struggle. After 21 of 26 games of the Tippeligaen 2003 (the Norwegian Premier Division) Lyn Oslo is in the 12th position of 13 clubs.
